Msmg is a place where people from ages 13-17 go to hang out and procrastinate in school while their parents try to find out why their grades have dropped, as the kid is also trying to hide that they're a member of msmg...they soon start to either actually be depressed or feel that they are because their parents are constantly yelling at them due to their procrastination
At the age of 17, they decide that it's time to get their shit together, appear online less to try to get the stuff they need for the future ready...and by age 18, either are offline completely (leave) or decide to stay
