You can date and be single. Unless you're Amish or Muslim or something, but in most cases those terms aren't mutually exclusive.

Technically, yea. But theoretically, I'm still right in a way.

Single people are literally the only people who date (excluding open relationships)...that's what dating is.

I'm talking about the isolated, unaccompanied, alone kind, gosh, the literal definition that makes sense. (Besides, not everyone who dates is unmarried or never been in a relationship, so you're not right on what dating is in that lol).
