Guess what? Family finances don't follow a formula. The price one pays is what one pays.

The solution is set the minimum wage and social security at the average inflation level, updated every paycheck so the money has the same value, also lower congresses pay to the median wage of the country adjusted for inflation each paycheck. I bet it would get fixed very fast.

Makes no sense how a country involved in capitalism thinks the government has the ability to change how a company chooses to set a price. It's like buying a 1 item from someone off Etsy who is selling that dollar item for 35 dollars. BS no ethics and the federal wage is still 7.25. if everyone took 7 days to not purchase anything we could try to lower inflation that way. But everyone seems to have money in America, and those that don't, really don't matter.

When that government prints and spends money like a drunken sailor, it crowds out the dollars generated by capitalism.

You could try to hold the ocean back with a broom, too. Neither effort would put a dent in the problem.
