Rather than address De Santis' support of Joe Rogan's past racist remarks, you chose to suggest I am gay, based on a 56-year-old picture of me. If I were gay, what would be wrong with that? Why would it matter in a discussion of politics and racial intolerance? I find it interesting that you resort to homophobia to defend racism. Your bigotry betrays you.

That picture was my reaction to mock applause from the sisters of my friend and bass player Tom Boyce, as he and I entered a band practice. Tom died as a result of complications from a heart transplant a number of years ago. He was a great person. I have been fortunate to have many wonderful friends over the years. None of them have defended racists. None of them would think that doing so was "good fun." You are not my friend, by any stretch of the imagination.

he doesn't know "why" he's intolerant, he only knows that he "has" to be.

that's the problem with mass indoctrination programs, they tend to focus on the money shot, and not the character's motivation

I haven't had an alcoholic drink in so many years, that I don't remember the occasion. I don't smoke, drink or use any other mind-altering substances. It is just my choice to not do so. My late brother, Jim was a lifelong conservative Republican. He was my personal hero. He would not be tolerant of today's Republicans. He set a high bar for himself and other conservatives. He always said that he would rather be right and lose than lower his standards to win. Republicans have gone from a party "In Search of Excellence," to one "Accepting Mediocrity To Notch a Win."

I couldn't put my finger on it, but I seemed to half-remember De Santis having had racism as an issue in the past. His Democratic challenger in the 2018 Governor's race was a Black man. De Santis said that this man's presence in the race would "monkey things up." He might be able to explain that away, except he already had made a name for himself as a racist. On Sept. 9, 2018, The Washington Post reported that DeSantis had spoken four times at "racially charged" events organized by David Horowitz, a controversial figure labeled by civil rights groups as an "anti-black extremist." The story went on to discuss his support for two other fairly well-known racists. A pattern seems clear to me.

democrats are a arty of "win-at-any-cost" politics ...that's why the marxists found it so easy to infiltrate them

I don't know your brother, and judging by "your" take on his politics ...neither did you

Speaking of love of "Marxists," did you see that the National Archives retrieved the Tangerine Tyrant's "Love Letters," from North Korean Dictator Kim Jung Un? I guess Putin isn't the only Commie he is in bed with.

Unfortunately, you don't understand what it means to be a real conservative. Few of what passes for a Republican these days do. Your party's brand of radical extremism is the polar opposite of conservative politics.

I'm neither Conservative nor Republican

anyhoos, no I didn't see that and let's be honest ...neither did you! You read it in a headline, right?!

His remarks "made ten years" ago, were reported two years ago. But they show he hasn't changed his racist ways. Most of America thinks it is wrong to be a racist. Most Americans oppose homophobia and sexism, too. The question is, "What are people like you going to do after the Tangerine Tyrant flames out?" The speck of relevance you currently have is eroding away. I am an "Ally," in answer to your inappropriate question.

you're not anyone's "ally" You're the new "Christian missionaries" ...you hide your own "racist ways" by deluding yourself that only YOU can stand up for the poor downtrodden black man ...go hand out some free crack-pipes in the 'hood, show 'em how it's done white boy!

anyhoos...the videos have been online forever. i seen them myself at least 8 years ago

he doesn't have to change his "racist ways" because he's not racist ...jesus, don't you ever get tired of not having any substantial thoughts and opinions of your own?! get out of your echo chamber and listen to these people speak for yourself

if they don't change your mind, at least you'll be in a better position to argue your point
