The ONLY decent looking hisuian starter is typhlosion's hisui form, and i still don't like it that much.

You should. It's very good and you don't have to actually use the starter.

I know I’ll still get it but I like using starters.

Oh, I just remembered! You can evolve your Pokemon whenever you want, and you don't even have to evolve them! The game will tell you when they're ready to evolve but you don't have to evolve them!

What does "Whenever you want" mean?

Oh, well, you actually have to go into the menu and click on the pokemon to make it evolve, it won't evolve automatically.

But like, does that mean there isn't a level requirement or that it is like of you pressed B automatically but can still evolve any time after the level up.

Once it gets to the level and/or meets the requirements, you can go evolve it. And yes you can still evolve it at any time after the level up.

Okay, that isn't too drastic.
