Not specifically to deal with freedom of speech. But Canada has separate laws to protect its citizens' rights to speak openly and freely. The laws in Canada put reasonable limits on one's right to openly spread hatred against an identifiable group. But therein lies the problem because any one of those "groups" could decide that your speech is hate speech and drag you before some human rights tribunal or the other. It is a liberal thing to shut you up through fear!
Also on paper, he should have never been able to do this....it is just a gross abuse of power. This is little known but the Canadian Prime Minister has much more power over their country than does the US President! Much Much Much more!
The absolutely useless feminist Canadian Prime Minister....who has fired all of his female ministers who had stood up to him......had tried to curry favour with the equally useless senile old dodderer American President who does not know whether it is 1936 or 2022....and he became a best seller on Amazon for his effort (his "FU@K trudeau" flag....did anyway)!

I mean it was not the Conservative who had owned every single slave in the USA on the eve of the American Civil War in 1860....the liberals were the slave owners!

The liberals boast of bringing in the Civil Right Laws in the 1960s....but a review of the votes cast for this law shows that only 65% of liberals had voted for it....while 88% of Conservatives had voted for it. And the Conservative vote was primarily marred because of a former liberal who recently had joined them and had voted against that law.
So again! I will ask....who really are the racists?
