Reaganomics can never work exactly as intended because there is no way to ensure the rich don't just keep the extra money or invest it overseas.
The real question: Amazon (like most big companies) pays no taxes. (Due to creative accounting and reinvestment...) so in our liberal utopian cloud city where the rich pay for everything, what's 100 times $0?
This same economic flaw explains why government bureaucracy fails so miserably at everything they do. The "big government" tax and spend system the left supports only results in a bigger, richer government. Just like the rich taking the money and keeping it, bueracrats treat the federal budget like their personal slush fund and the higher taxes go, the big government gets and the less they actually get done.

we could end this vicious cycle by implementing UBI and have minimum tax rate for doing business somewhere.

How do we stop that from causing major inflation and excessive Gov't bureaucracy? Rather than pay the tax outta their executive bonuses, the minimum tax will simply be added to the wholesale of goods and services.
The Gov't in its infinite wisdom, won't be able to figure out why the inflation is happening and will spend the new taxes to partially fund a study to figure out how to deal with the inflation.
And we're back where we began.

There would be a black market. People would hide their wealth by hoarding cash, gold, silver, or other precious tangibles purchased on black market.

There’s already a “black market” for hyperwealthy people when it comes to tax evasion. Greedy people will come up with all sorts of schemes to hide or shelter their wealth regardless. That’s no reason for tax collection authorities to slack — in fact, quite the opposite.

I think a flat tax system would be better. Close all tax shelters and let everyone rich and poor alike pay something like 7% above the poverty line.

Flat tax doesn't work, we should use a progressive tax system and UBI (universal basic income) so that rich people pay more tax than people who have nothing, who get money from the government and that grows the economy, as studies have shown.

Poor people already don't pay income tax. What they need is to close the loop holes or make the buku obscene rich like Bezos or Zuckerburg pay 20% or something. If you have a UBI and cap income it undermines people's incentives to do anything.

Studies have shown the opposite. I'm not proposing to cap income, just to add UBI.

That's just going to drive up the price of everything. Like when the minimum wage goes up, it makes business charge more money for goods/services to absorb that cost. Nothing is 'free'.

No, it'll actually cause more economic opportunities

And how is that supposed to work, if people get paid to do nothing? That's like the Welfare System where people basically stay at home and get paid to to nothing.

Sure.

It gives people the opportunity to do what they truly want to do, it gives people opportunities.

Um, okay. Let's just agree to disagree.
