It's been 25 years since I identified the incoherence of the pro-choice vs pro-life framing of abortion. You cannot have meaningful discourse when you haven't even agreed on what it is you're discussing. You can only talk past each other. The only thing that changes is occasionally the pitch of the rhetoric gets increasingly shrill as it sails past its target.
I've eaten an awful lot of popcorn watching such debates unfold, and hoped to God none of the pro-lifer crowd ever gets laid.
