Something like this happened to me but with a actual relationship. My girlfriend only cared about herself and when i brought it up she dumped me for some simp who does whatever she wants
update on the last thing I posted, I confessed to her and she said okay and went back to talking about her shitty ass ex. then a few minutes later I asked her what she thought about it and she said "eliott your my friend". So I got friend zoned again. now I kinda want to cry
