Honestly it’d be better for him — and people would respect him more — if he did something unusual and out of character for him, which is accept a punishment without fussing or trying to weasel out of it or trying to ban the stream owner.

If I can be brutally honest here, the whole argument that you should keep your mod after being stream banned is utterly moronic and deserves to be thrown out of consideration due to being an utterly stupid idea. Seriously, who sincerely believes that a person who has shown they cannot be trusted enough to be allowed to participate in a community should be allowed to moderate it? I highly doubt anyone would be arguing I should keep my mod powers if I got my account deleted, nor would I ever make the argument anybody who’s been banned from any of my streams should be allowed to moderate them. Why is this even a discussion?

If I can be honest, this whole 'thing' between you and him smelled like a bunch of bullsh*t from the start. A "What came first the chicken or the Egg" thing. You got the upper hand but I wouldn't go making yourself look like a saint here. The biggest mistake he made was getting caught doing things people that he was accusing others of doing. If you think he can't be Mod because of some weird "trust issue" (when there wasn't a problem with his modding before all this happened I would wonder if your position isn't more based on personal reasons.
