Let's look at the actions of our unprofessional, incompetent, presiding officer, the mayor, who has appointed herself Queen Bee of Civility.
In relation to the public input on items 13D and 13E at the last city council meeting January 11, 2022. And what was said about Rene Buchanan's inaction on the housing commission,
Oh, did I call you a name? Well, it must fall under civility, considering you've done it to me. Unless of course my right to freedom of speech is different than yours.
So why would the Queen Bee of Civility be chastising the public for the truth in what they had endured and experienced at housing commission meetings? Or would you be trying to distract from the fact that, that was the kind of person you kept appointing, and again tried to reappoint without the number of votes you needed.
And this makes you look bad. Showing that what you did in reappointing Rene Buchanan to the housing commission in item 13A, at the December 7, 2021, city council meeting was a sleezy action by the four of you.
Hopefully people will remember these actions in the upcoming elections.
