The majority of the truckers are actually fully vaccinated, they aren't anti-vaccine, they are anti-mandate. This is not merely about opposing the mandates, this is about opposing all the covid restrictions that badly destroyed everyone's lived imposed by corrupt politicians who think they can just take away people's rights, freedom and livelihood. And besides, there is a lot of evidence that refutes the case for vaccine mandates and proof of vaccination systems.

1. The vaccines don't stop the transmission of covid, they just reduce the severity of covid. CDC Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky admits that that the vaccines don't stop the transmission of covid, they just reduce the severity of covid in the person who takes the vaccine, you can still get infected with covid and be asymptomatic and unknowingly spread the virus to others. 2. Many fully vaccinated nations have over 75% of the population vaccinated and have vaccine passport systems in effect but they still had a high surge of covid cases and the overwheling majority of the cases are in the fully vaccinated than the unvaccinated, so the notion that the Omicron wave is a "pandemic of the unvaccinated" is completely refuted.

3. According to PHAC data travel actually accounts for less than 1% of covid cases so that also refutes any strong case for vaccine mandates and allow me to reiterate, the vaccines don't prevent the transmission of covid, it just reduces the severity of covid in the person who takes the vaccine therefore it doesn't protect others, only the person who takes the vaccine.
