My older brother got suspended back in the early 90s for having "The Works of the Devil" (that's what they called it) When instead, it was a copy of "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" (1986) I can't even find his version that he had because it's so vintage. Back when your AC was "Fantastic" when it was -10. But it was the work of the devil back then and you got suspended over it. Only 30 years ago. How much do you think has changed?
People be still applying the devil to what they don't understand.
Hell I'd wager some people still think D&D is the devil's work. They attributed Harry Potter to "Witchcraft" and "Evil"
