With Raya I thought it was crazy that the protagonist was supposed to be lesbian but disney censored it.

They should have kept it in like bruh Disney who cares if you can't make money in Russia just let us have our representation

Yes and the owl house was a special case another great example of representation being censored is in gravity falls with the love potion scene

Not really it has charming characters a good story about redemption and overall is a Disney classic in my book

The story is incredibly contrived.

It's just a fast passed movie it doesn't necessarily make it BAAd it just makes it hard to follow sometimes

Well it doesn't really follow that either but I guess with all the sudden changes in environments it just seems like it doesn't make very much sense but if you think about it it's meant to be symbolic of everyone from different areas can all work together

The themes are pretty obvious. They literally spell it out in the outro narration.

Themes and symbolism don't determine if the story makes any sense.
