Anarchist communism has been attempted a number of times, under populations of millions of people. It didn't fail because of predators within those societies, because people are quite pleased and have what they need and there is less need for crime and exploitation, but they were instead taken over by external forces lead by states.
After tribes engaged in war and blood revenge, they organized into clans and practiced transformative justice instead. You missed my point before. People were able to handle even the worst of humanity, all through their own organizations. Now, we have the state and police to handle crime, a never-ending cycle, because it is those very institutions that perpetuate crime to begin with.
If someone were to attempt to restore exploitative authoritarian relationships, they would be stopped. It is not as though force would cease to exist completely, because self-defense is essential and also a part of mutual aid. I believe the people themselves know their needs better than the government knows them.
