the desert well is useless

its not entirely useless, if you have an empty bucket and need water but you are in a desert you can get some from a desert well. or just get some from a river 10 blocks away if you play on bedrock. desert wells always spawn near a desert's edge in bedrock editiom.

In defense of the desert well, I would always toss an emerald in the water as good luck as if it were a wishing well :)
