God forbid you become friends with someone that voted for the opposite side

I base my relationships on if the person’s opinions on important subjects, such as gender and when life begins, are based in reality.

You can call that basing friendships off of political views if you want, but it’s not my fault being based in reality seems to be divided along party lines.

I just don't understand how you can be fine and dandy with someone one day and then another day, you find out who they voted for and then you're just like.. "You voted for them? F**king kill yourself" and then not be friends with them. That's what I call basing it off of politics is when it's wrapped around your head that bad, that's the only thing you look at in someone.
