If the evidence “against OP” develops the way I expect it to, then the trial record will actually show evidence of significant abuses by IncognitoGuy himself.

What we have here is a sitting President “punching down” and trying to weaponize the mechanism of impeachment against opposition Congressmembers, not realizing that he’s in jeopardy of it himself.

As OlympianProduct’s attorney, I make the following request — if at the close of the trial, evidence shows a viable case for IG’s impeachment, that Congress be asked and allowed to vote for IG’s impeachment as well.

I have little doubt that under this fair and proportionally allocated Congress, the requisite minimum Congressional support exists to bring formal impeachment charges against IncognitoGuy for his conduct as President this term, even leaving aside all that he did when he was last in office (and impeached) as Vice-President.

As a Congressmember, I vote AYE.

I'd have to allow Surly's impeached trial to go through first, since that's the order requests were made in. Feel free to keep tabs on any evidence you think could be useful though.

That suits me just fine, because the fact that IG is weaponizing impeachment against opposition Congressmembers who have been critical of him is perhaps the strongest abuse of power argument.

I therefore ask that the trial records from OP’s and Surly’s impeachment trials be preserved as evidence for any future impeachment trial of IG.
