wow, and i thought the upvote beggar meme that is on front page was bad, this a repost and a beg, I would give you 1 million downvotes, but I can only give one

Piece of advice that has been given to me by a more experienced user. Half of imgflip is easily a repost, or more then half. But every time someone like you or me tries to point it out. 400000 toxic users will ask for proof and links. They probably are 5 but i wont be insulting. You can find almost every front page meme on in a youtuber thumbnail. Or old imgflip posts. Some streams allow reposts although im not sure if its a good idea. I mean its like not using your brain to get upvotes. But anyway its best to just downvote or move on because comments cant change it and starting an argument in chats is a way to attract mods., and its wrong. Im not saying your starting an argument but i tell alot of people who find reposts this. I have been banned from streams for calling out a repost. So just be like me and hold your moth however hard to is. And keep scrolling :) (btw this isnt targeting anyone or agreeing this is a repost) im just saying this so everyone can understand my perspective.

Yes indeed, i typed an essay. funny thing is that i just spent fking 4 hours actually writing an essay😂

Now the whole repost part is indeed debatable.

When I call out repost, I’m doing that because it’s already been posted on the fun stream before. However, a repost could potentially mean a meme seen on Reddit that was posted on here as well.

So I’ll give you that.

But the whole “downvote and move on” thing is idiotic. Whoever told you that is a moron.

What im saying is, is that its a waste of time trying to call out someone as annoying and as idiotic as they seem. Even if its me that you dislik. Starting an argument sounds good to me. The less positive a general reaction is to upvote begging, the less people will want to upvote beg again.

If you get banned for calling out a repost or upvote beggar, it’s because the maker of that meme is the biggest snowflake on the planet. Imgflip doesn’t care what you comment. If some guy flags it, they’ll approve it because the mods don’t know the situation at all.

Upvote begging is a serious problem. It no longer takes a good meme to reach the front page. All you need to do is ask to be on there. Brilliant!

Simply downvoting and moving on isn’t going to solve the problem of upvote begging. Simply ignoring it isn’t going to stop it. The very reason it’s on the front page is because people WEREN’T ignoring it in the first place. So why ignore it NOW? Oh. Because I have a negative comment, and that’s not allowed.

The point isnt to not be able to state your opinion. i was just simply saying that there are annoying New imgflip users who are fking 6 years old like GIMME A LINK YOU BIG POOPY HEAD MEANIE. they are all over imgflip. They just defend the meme creator. It wasnt targeted at all imgflip but the commenter who called out a repost and had a 5 yr old ask for a link. I saw it coming....... I think reposts and upvote begging is scummy. IT is the one thing i hate about imgflip. But if you or anyone talks about there opinion u can count on some random kid trying to fking call you out. So it is best to just avoid those situations and flag it. the only reason im typing a FKING ESSAY is because i want people to understand lmfao.

When I flag reposts, I include the link in there so they know it’s a blatant repost.

I did write and essay lol. Its not the point to just not state your opinion. Its when you call out a repost some 10 year old who likes the meme and is not a veteran. Will just say OMG LINK!!!!!! YOU POOPY HEAD!!! and i have gotten banned because i tried to state my opinion. But again not the point. you just need to realize that no matter how scummy imgflip is. There are scummier users who are toxic towards your opinion. I disagree with this meme but im not going to agrue with amogus user about it lol.

You do make a fair point, however if you want to encourage people to not argue in the comments then perhaps not commenting on other toxic comments telling them to stop is the better decision.

And nobody likes it when YouTubers do that.
