A big bad thief is headed to town and altho Fluffy has always defended you but you are scared. You train Fluffy to be on guard for this scary thief (mRNA Vaxx). This thief can't get near your property now. Great. Then the thief leaves town. New thieves show up. Fluffy is still singlemindedly waiting for the first thief so when the others show up, he merely rolls over for his belly to be scratched. Now you need to train ('BOOSTERS') again ANY future thief that might show up or he will ignore them.
