Some else’s theory on how to weaken it before catching it: give a level 1 Ratata that knows Endeavor a focus sash, (that way it can actually use the move). When 682 attacks, Ratata will be at 1 go, using the move endeavor, 682 would also be at 1 hp, then use quick attack. Now just make no attempt to revive 682 after he faints.
