Runny noses and poorly fitting masks

Do many people voluntarily wear masks? Are mask-wearers pariahs?

overall about half wear masks. i don't know if it polarizes them but attendance last semester was bad from the start, presumably because they didn't want to be in a room full of virus.

That’s a higher proportion than I would have thought. When I go somewhere with no mandate it seems more like 20% masking.

most of them are science majors and prospective nursing majors, so they're relatively aware of the reality

It’s nice they found the cases before school started

So nice! The whole school district is about 30,000 students, so that's about 1 kid per classroom positive. If they had all come to school, the next week the classrooms would be empty.

Yeah... my school decided to take away the mask mandate...
