The problem there is that giving such advice to the ARMED members of the nation -- countless numbers of whom are fully trained and battle tested military veterans -- is probably BAD advice since if they give up on voting they still TRUST in the efficacy of . . . the . . . bullet.

What are they doing to do? Occupy another bird sanctuary for two weeks?

If they stop voting, they'll stop having any impact on politics from then on, and they know it. What you're describing is a fantasy and always has been.

Wow . . . actual proof that the Left DOES NOT . . . study history.

1916, the armored tank was deployed for the first time. First major innovation to counter the personal firearm. Helicopter invented 1923. Rocketry invented 1926. Sonic and radiation based counters developed from the 80's onwards. All of this - and I mean ALL of this - became unmanned from about 2006 onwards which means you're not even going to be a drain on the government's manpower anymore.

And in 2016, the government learned that all they really ever had to do was wait for you to run out of milk and then arrest you at the grocery store. They most they could charge you with was vandalism of a bird sanctuary.

I don't think my understanding of history is the problem.

Unmanned does not mean no people are involved - the pilots are remote. Even the "autonomous" drones have operators and programmers.

OK, you got me. I'm interested. Tell me your tactical plan for shooting at the man behind the remote control during your revolution.

Why bother? Drones run on fuel, just like everything else. Interrupt the fuel supply routes and the drones will be too busy patrolling their fuel trucks to do much of anything else.

That is, of course, if you're worried about the very small percentage of military personnel who are liberals... Chances are very good that the drone pilot voted for Trump.

Let me get this straight: your entire military strategy here is to stock up on guns, then when the time comes you're going to just gamble that the government will just let you win because they happen to agree with your fringe politics?

That's a very small part of the plan, accounting for deserters. Lots of guns, also a very small part of the plan. Secure locations, surveillance countermeasures, provisions for a year, vehicles and spare parts, off-grid encrypted communications - and much-much more. The plan is actually quite detailed.

Well, here's a spoiler for you: you'll have a standoff with the police for about two weeks until you realize that the support you were expecting from industrial logistical professionals and military deserters fall well below your expectations. One by one, you get hungry, bored, and frustrated, and turn yourselves into the police in exchange for a sandwich. Federal prosecutors eventually charge you for wasting police time but will admit to the press that there was so little that you guys managed to accomplish that there's not much more they COULD charge you with.

This was free of charge. You're welcome.

That's hilarious. For the past several years, I cater dinner to all first responders (sheriff, police, fire, ems) in my county on Christmas eve. It might surprise you to know that first responders in red states are possibly bigger preppers than the rest of us patriots. Nobody wants to divulge exactly how prepared they are, so it's hard to really gauge.

If I want a sandwich, I'll walk out to the pasture and butcher a cow, or a chicken, or a goat. Or I'll go to the pond and pull out a catfish. If I have 10 people to feed, I'll try to catch a grass carp..... All of this without leaving my property.

I know you've spent at least 10 minutes thinking about this sort of thing. Keep at it, in a couple of decades or so you'll catch up to where I am now. I've been preparing with tools, weapons, provisions, and skills since 2001.

Oh, well, the government definitely doesn't have access to fuel. They may as well surrender now!!

What they don't have is refineries. So how do they get their fuel? Trucks, over the road, from refineries - the locations of which are all well known because the facilities are enormous. Hundreds of miles of roads to defend between the refinery and the fuel depot of the airport where the drones operate.

Then you have assholes like me, with calibers of ammunition capable of piercing an engine block from a mile away.

... the US government doesn't have oil refineries?? Did I understand you correctly?

This HAS to be some attempt at trolling. You cannot POSSIBLY think this is solid strategic planning.
0 ups, 3y
They have access to oil refineries through contracts, but the government itself does not operate refineries.

Educate yo-self.
