You lost owner? Damn tons of shit happened

Because you essentially "hijacked" the system.
You removed OG owners calling them "biased." We have just as much a right to call you biased for that, if you understand.
You "threatened" with Owner removal, which absolutely no owner ever does. That was out of line.

No. We've never done that. We never remove owners, Cine, because they're all equal.

well not never there's still a decent amount of scenarios where an owner should lose their owner for one reason or other

Not saying they shouldn't,
but everything that happened yesterday has no precedent, including `threatening` with Owner removal.

yeah ik i was just correcting your use of never
personally i do think we have too many owners and that not everyone with it should have it but if we were to do something about it we'd want a decent amount of owners on board with the idea of removing said owners
also unrelated but owners really need to start actually asking the person who removed someone's mod before just giving the person mod again because people never actually check why they lost it in the first place

That's what the 'fight' was about. Because I wasn't accepting a new owner for no reason.

Y e s . We'd need to talk to e v e r y b o d y . And this Owner position isn't something people can "ask" for or "want", because then they'd be considering it a leverage- which is a red flag in itself.

Which really kills the idea of Mod Resets, cuz everyone gets it back the next minute. We failed a hell lotta times to make a functional "system" so the best we can do is have owners who care.

yeah if we do get a new owner there should be a v e r y good reason but there probably won't be a good enough reason to add a new one

exactly- if we do anything major involving an owner or multiple owners we need other owners to be support the idea as well unless given specific circumstances like "oh this person is doing a l o t of shit they shouldn't be doing (like removing a bunch of mods for no reason or smth like that) so i'm going to take their owner for now to stop it and discuss with other owners about if they should get it back or not" removing another person's owner should only be something permanent if more owners agree with it

IKR the basic idea of a mod reset is a good one to keep it so that people who shouldn't have mod or don't need it at all don't have it but that doesn't happen if other owners just start giving people mod back without thinking about it we honestly should default to the mod application for that kinda stuff and maybe add a different one for someone's case as to why they should get mod back if they lost it to keep those separate because then we actually get a decent idea of "should this person have mod"

With the massive variety that we already have. . .

Yes.

Yes.

Too much common sense in this conversation. I feel good now after yesterday's shit.

Yes, we need to, if a mod or owner f**ks up too many times they need there owner demoted.

Many times? Compare the time how long the owners you removed were owners for, and how long had you been one.

Really, the first effective decision you took as owner was removing an owner. And now this.
This isn't the way, is it? Or it gets too political. We don't hold our equals accountable if they don't agree with us, we think they understand and have a valid point instead of assuming they're "biased."

yes, i’ve had owner for a while

mhm
if someone is biased they made a unfair decision
can you understand that?

Of course, they're wrong if they're biased. But then we talk to them, removing their owner isn't a solution to solving bias. It shouldn't even be your first thought.
And what's "bias"? If they dislike a certain user that you like, then you're both equally "biased." It's completely understandable. But none of you would be right in removing each other's owner for that. Get it?

bro what
if someone does something for their own liking it’s biased
are you retarded
0 ups, 3y
I just defined bias. Yes. OF COURSE IT IS.

But having a different opinion is a lot different than "bias." That's the only thing you need to understand.
I can do what I think is right, it doesn't make me biased.
You can do what you think is right, you wouldn't be biased in doing so.
But if you kick someone for doing something different, you're biased.
If I kick someone for having a different opinion, I'm biased.

Guess who kicked who.

Well, if they become a mod is that better
i made you a mod
Yes, everyone is biased if they get a dumb enough reason to do something bad for their own liking
0 ups, 3y
For their own liking. Back to square one, Cine. Well done. End of conversation.
