Education is too important to be left in the hands of teachers alone.

Even after choosing an elective meant to teach EXACTLY this sort of thing, I graduated high school without knowing how to fill out a job application, write a resume, balance a budget, or anything remotely useful for entering the real world. I graduated in 2008 for context. Before the advent of wokeness and the school system had already been borked, and I can only blame Bush for some of it.

What DID I know how to do graduating high school? I knew how to memorize information and regurgitate it onto a scantron sheet.

You have my profound sympathy. I went to school when the emphasis was on having the students learn the information. Bush is only partially to blame. The teachers union is heavily resistant to any kind of reform.

Bush did in fact make it more difficult for schools to deal with bullies because the threat of them flunking was neutered. I still live with that trauma too and it's why I despise the woke left. I know bullies when I see them, they're all full of irrational hate for those they deem inferior.

Okay, I agree with you that woke-ism is destroying the education of our young people. But ultimately you are responsible for your own education. I know for a fact that you've never been taught why you should be educated in the first place. I used to be a teacher and it was the first thing I taught my classes on the first day of school.

I don't disagree. I really wish I'd taken the initiative while I still had the chance. At least parents now have more tools than ever to look into the classroom whether teachers like it or not.

True. But you are now into the era of self-education which will last you the rest of your life. Keep reading and learning new things. It will make you a happier person.

Education is a local problem. If you dont like the schools, move, or home school!!! Simple!!!
