My Dad played the unofficial version of Minecraft in the 90's with his friends, one of them SAW HEROBRINE. Also if you look at the list of the added things in 1.18, you won't find 'Removed Herobrine' like with all of the others...

The 90's version looked a lot like alpha, however you were limited to do only very few things...

That's weird because the first version of minecraft was released in 2009 and development started the same year. The first version was nothing like the alpha. It was a fat block of cobblestone and grass. There are videos of it on YouTube

That's just not true, there is a minecraft version that apparently was made in 9097 called minecraft 3d but it was only an April fools release
