As usual the media & "Justice System" are obsessed with punishment after the fact, while ignoring research that could have prevented mass shootings & other violence! There has been good research for decades that showed how several mass shootings could have been prevented! If the media was willing to cover good academics like James Garbarino & Barbara Coloroso decades ago and politicians based their policy decisions on this research we could have prevented many mass shootings & cut murder rates as other wealthy countries did long ago!
