That happened to my friend once
We went on a shopping trip and when she got back her dad yelled at her for not getting him anything, and she bought her sister this huge chocolate lollipop and got screamed at by her sister and her mother for not buying her sister enough. I'm pretty sure they're abusive.

I’ll let you decide if you want to give her the silent treatment or just ignore her to an extent. I’m sorry this happened. If you don’t mind me asking, what did she want you to buy for her? And how old is she (you don’t have to give exact ages that’s not the point) is she very young? (0-5) young? (6-9 heh) tween age? 10-12) or teen? (13+) that might give some clearance on how to treat this situation.

She's about 10 years old, thanks for the advice :) She wanted like this limited edition perfume I think. And I don't even know why the heck she even wants perfume because she has about 11 perfumes already. I think she wanted it just for display which is even worse

Why did she expect you to get it for her? Christmas or birthday? Honestly if she’s 10 she doesn’t need perfume. I got my first perfume which was very small a couple of months ago, and I’m 14.

understandable. yeah, that's why i'm glad i don't have a sister. and my family could not afford that unless someone gets lucky.
