What’s your internalized biphobia about? No judgement, I just need to figure out how to help

A lot of stuff:
Feeling that bi people sleep around and are horny all the time
Feeling that bi people are attention seekers
Feeling that if I mention I’m bi, the focus goes to how I still like the opposite gender, rather than both

I see… First of all, being bi doesn’t mean you’re always horny, but I could see why you’d think that, being bi just means you’re attracted to both genders, not that you necessarily are attracted to more people than any straight/gay person. For the second thing, try to think of it this way: are you trying to be an attention seeker? The answer should be no, otherwise you’re not actually bi. For the last thing, make sure you try to make sure they know if you have a lean for females, that way they don’t see you as a straight person who sometimes likes the same sex

Thank you. As for the attention seeking, it’s not that I am, but there’s a whole meme about girls coming out as bi just for the attention. Some happen to be a little too smart for “semi-bisexual” and “bi but I’d never date a girl”.
