In reality, the states don't have the money to fix those things, and the federal government won't send the states money to fix them in the 'infrastructure' bill. Which has almost no money in it for infrastructure.
ON FEBRUARY 2021, 4.5 MILLION TEXANS WERE LEFT WITHOUT POWER THAT CAUSED AS MUCH AS $130 BILLION IN ECONOMIC DAMAGE DUE TO POWER GRID FAILURES AND BETWEEN 210-702 PEOPLE WERE KILLED. 10 MONTHS LATER THE POWER GRIDS ARE STILL VULNERABLE AND NOT REPAIRED....WHY? BECAUSE REPUBLICANS CONTINUE TO ALWAYS ARGUE ABOUT THE ONLY TWO ISSUES THAT PISSES PEOPLE OFF... ABORTION & GUNS. THEY ARE SO FOCUSED AND FIXATED ON ABORTION RIGHTS THAT THEY HAVE IGNORED THE POWER GRIDS AND THE SAFETY OF THE PEOPLE.
