I uncover my ears seeing has the baby has kind of calmed down. I look back and forth outside and sigh.

as i see the baby is frightened i place it back in the box. but i soon realize there's something else in the box.....

There is a letter with a baby rattle

i grip the rattle and shake it gently in front of the baby. My body is in a very cringe like position with my arm extended.

i give the baby the rattle and carry the box inside. I place it on the dining room table and lock the front door. i open the letter...
