All these people, and more, were trying to get the President to make a statement. There's no crime there, and knowing it was Trump supporters who were rioting...well duh. What idiot didn't know that? No crime there either. It's also not a crime for the President to say nothing at all. There's no law that states a leader is supposed to tell people to stop rioting...else a lot of democrat mayors and governors would be in big trouble right now after purposefully telling the police to "let them blow off steam" while letting their cities burn. There will be nothing that comes out of the January 6 commission but headlines and political bloviating designed to keep idiots thinking they're doing something while they continue to destroy the nation from within right in front of you.

And just who is it that organized all this "coup"? No one has even been charged, much less found "not guilty". Try again. Coup...a legal term, has a much stronger definition...so sorry if Webster's let you down on that. They were shown the maximum leniency. When you attempt to stop the peaceful transfer of power by looking to kill members of Congress, 40 months seems like a slap on the wrist.

I don’t make anything up. I think that anyone that didn’t step foot inside the building or attack the police should not be charged. Most folks that day were peaceful. They were there to support trumps lies about fraud but not to attack anyone. And that is their right. Anyone that participated in beating up cops or going into building should be treated as the domestic terrorists that they are. Make an example out of them so nobody thinks that is a good idea to ever try it again.
