I can't tell if you mean that in a negative or positive manner, but either way, you *can't* be an actual ally if you don't support *all* of the LGBTQ+ community. If you're an ally, you have to stand behind each and every letter of our alphabet mafia <( ￣^￣)> Besides, being an ally is being somebody who supports the LGBTQ+ Community, even if they are not a part of it. Key Word: LGBTQ+. Not just "LGB", it's "LGBTQ+".

I, too, have to deal with such a father, whom of which constantly dead-names and misgenders me, all without any remorse. He also doesn't care about anybody else's pronouns and, instead, often mocks genders, especially non-binary and genderfluid (just last night, I made a joke and, in it, I said, "Excuse me, sir." In response, and like the dick he is, he just said, "ExCusE mE, I IdEnTiFy As a nON-BiNaRY fLuiD!!!! 😤😤😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬😠😠👿👿👿" Like, uh- That's not even how it works??? Like, damn- Four years of college and you still the dumbest hoe I know 🙄✋ He once even called me a "Freak of Nature" for being gay and trans, so, uh- That kinda hurted me doe-).

Yeah, my whole family is homo/transphobic, save for me (though I'm only out to my dad, something I heavily regret, even though he seemed to genuinely care at first ;~; Now, he just uses it as a point to harass and mock me. I have way too many stories of the times he's made fun of me for my identity). It sucks. However, I'm the same as you; I love my dad, too, as he treats me well, but doesn't even know how to make me happy via simple pronouns, like- He dead-ass bought me a real sword *and* a Nintendo Switch before (which, together, would be *highly* expensive), but he can't even do something that costs him *no* money at all (calling me by my preferred name and pronouns)??? I fail to see the logic behind that. Even if he's trying to flex his money on me, I don't really care about his money. I just want happiness and an actually loving father, and I feel like that isn't too much/too hard to ask :|
I hope we both heal from these events, and that the world will change for the best. And, remember, the only reason homo/transphobes have to be so loud is because they're dying out. That, my friend, means we're winning ;3
