Image ain’t mine (no one joined part 1 and I need to finish this series I started a long time ago)

Commander Vix: Miss me? *he looked for some way into the fort.*

Void: what underground? I was talking about that they may have a portal that goes directly to this fortress from Earth, the planet. That’s where they were originally from. Incident-0 happened, they were declared criminals, and now they are here.

Vix: I thought you meant Earth like undergr- nevermind.

Void: I can open a portal to Earth… and I think I know where the portal is…

Vix: Where?

Their first research station, and the one that still gives me nightmares to this day, the Antarctic Research station.

Ember: look who’s back.

Mecha: the casualties are gonna be high, we’ve already lost so many troops.

Ember: Solar had been trying to revive everyone instead of fighting so we may have more soon.

Mecha: I’m not sure we have time to revive everyone… my plan was we send a small squad for a stealth mission inside the fort while the rest of us keep ‘em distracted out here.

Ember: a full assault may work the best, I think we have the power to rip off the roof, it’s possible we could trap them in the lower floors.

*a protogen walks up to them*

Void: whatever we’re gonna do, we better do it fast. We know they can’t replace their lost soldiers, but I think there is something more powerful they are hiding in there, that’s why they don’t want to give it up.

Commander Vix: You could just send me in, I'm very good at stealth.

Void: I’ll come with you.

Vix: Alright.

Void: let’s go.

*the two of you walk up to the fort*

Void: do you have a plan for getting in?

Vix: Is there a ceiling entrance?

Void: there might be. Follow me.

*Void makes the motion that looks like she is just scratching the air, however, she disappears for a moment, then you see her at the top of the building, in her place is a one way portal to the top of the building*

Void: I’d hurry up if I were you, that portal isn’t gonna be there for long.

Vix: Understood, amigo. *he went through the portal.*

*you appear on the roof of the fortress* Void: I see several entrances. It’s also possible we could have entered from earth. I should have thought about that sooner..

Vix: I have...bad memories about the underground.
