i never could understand the whole leap year thing. i have had it explained to me so many times and i think i simply just dont have enough brain cells to comprehend it.

A normal year has 265 days, right?

A year is supposed to be the amount of time it takes for the earth to go around the sun.

The time it takes is actually 365 days and 1/4th of a day, so every 4 years they add an extra day at the end of February

how did you do it. after all these years no one could do it but you just did it. you just explained to me how leap year works and i understood. this is life changing. i thank you for the gift of knowledge you have bestowed upon me. i shall never forget this.

yeah it does mostly just go down. but apparently leap year makes it possible for it to go up too. i have no idea how.
