We adopted him later in life and he was horribly abused. He was missing so much fur and malnourished. He would not bark because he had a shock collar on and it stopped fur growing around his neck. It took 2 years but got him to bark and express himself. It was beautiful and made me cry. He had many medical issues and could barely walk. One morning we got up and he could not walk. Took him to the vet and they said he was in horrible pain and we should do the humane thing and let him sleep. It was the worse day of my life.

1. Those type of people (who abuse dogs or cats or any other animal) are horible and i honestly hate them.
2. Thats sounds horible and makes me feel so bad for him :(
Yes, we could not help but take him. He was skiddish with others but her came right up to us like he wanted to be with us. It was beautiful but so much hard work that was worth it to give him a happy couple of years.
