and Britain owns Scottland depends on how long your dependents came from Scotland if it was before Scotland was considered a part of Britain i wouldn't consider myself that since well i dont THINK many british people went to scotland and mixed that much with the Scottish ppl

My ancestors left Scotland around the time of the Highlands clearings and moved to Virginia and intermixed with the native Americans
