Exactly. Every time a police officer arrest someone for not wearing a mask or throws someone out of a business for being unvaccinated we take a step closer to fascism.

But can we expect rank and file cops to go against orders from their superiors? That puts their jobs on the line. They've got families to feed, too. This is a top down problem, imo. So I think it should be handled top down. Just my $0.02.

Exactly - there is no order so depraved that a police officer will not carry it out, up to and including the execution of children.
The police are only as good as those who we let lead them.
