Well first of all do you know what Pretty Cure is? (This will be relevant for later)

ive heard of it

Well there’s a ship in it called Jokarei (Google “pretty cute jokarei”) and it’s from something called smile pretty cure (or if you’re like me and are from the us and watch Netflix, glitter force, aka a supposedly “bad” dub of smile precure). The ship spawned because of episode 43 (season 2 episode 15 in the dub)

And if you look on my profile, there’s evidence of why it’s canon

And I found out it’s from four days ago but I didn’t even know it existed until just earlier

And then there’s a character named Hishikawa Reika (aka Rachel in the dub)/Cure Diamond (aka Glitter Diamond in the dub) and I said in both memes she looks like she could be their daughter. In fact, watch season 2 episode 5 of the dub (aka episode 26(?) of the original) and you’ll know her parents look like them (father has purple hair, mother has blue hair).

(Continuing from my last comment) the episode is pretty sad because it involves the blue girl (Chloe, named Reika in japan) being offered to study abroad for a year, she misses her friends, then one of the villains targets and traumatizes her (he licked her hair in episode 23, aka season 1 episode 20 in the dub), and that’s where the ship begins

Unless you want to get really horrified and sad (her character song also plays during their sword fight…in fact, I read the lyrics and to me it seems like a love song. The song’s not in the dub and I am so raged out over it), I would recommend the dub version of the episode

Yeah Joker pretty much tried to kill Reika and is just generally a sociopath and besides he’s like much older than her (I say either 18 or 19 but he’s ageless but looks like early 20s/late teens so)

either way you don't have to get into sonic to learn this, trust me being a sonic fan is both fun but also hell
