The game itself looks beautiful, especially with the battles as well. you even get to save a kid who's actually a champ near Route 5. Also, there are pokemon from other reigons here to. (Like from the first game with Ekans)

there's also some side quests. You can't give pearls for money, but you can trade with pearls. Also if you collect 5 smoke balls from the 3rd city and return to the 2nd city, you can get a bike
