It was towards the end of the Crack Epidemic, and hearing that one crusty one used to look really hot a few years prior and another one is called "Monkey Face" because of the way she ended up looking and what they and others did for $5, well, you get the picture.
Legalizing, treatment, giving it away for free like the Swiss, whatever, would only serve to accelerate the decline and deaths of these people. These are people with some shitty lives they're trying to drown themselves out of but too scared to kill themsleves. Legalizing pot didn't put mommy's cookie jar back on the shelf, it's turned millions of teens into patients with sciatica and glaucoma! Good thing it's legal for medical purposes! Let's see them satisfied with just toking when they get past 22. Knowing someone turning their minds too mush, waking up to a chorus of voices thundering in their heads in the morning till they take their meds, too fhucked up to work, dying of a heart attack at 42 with a face that looks 78, none of that is cute.
