its fkin traumatic, you get thoughts abt hurting urself or others, you get unwanted thoughts, and these all lead to following strict routines, checking things repeatedly, etc.

My cousin has OCD, I'm pretty sure ik what it is

are they diagnosed? like by a phycologist?
