It was blatantly obvious on January 6th that the rioting and insurrection that took place at the Capitol that day was a pre-planned and co-ordinated event that Trump and his co-conspirators devised to hold onto power - no matter how illegitimate - much like every other psychologically weak man and wannabe dictator in history.

Pretty damn sure all of Trump's allies and co-conspirators went with whatever political BS rhetoric they thought would advance their position, never once considering - nor even foreseeing - they might possibly be held accountable for their lies in the future.

Plenty of them now, however, are wiping their brows as they now face billion dollar lawsuits, disbarments, subpoenas, criminal indictments and future prison terms. Good!
