Liberals used to love quiting the Okun "Misery Index" during the Bush years when it was ain the mid-8s, as a "troubling trend."

Misery Index was ignored during the Obama Years when it was high, and during the Trump years when it was low. And now during Biden's first year when it is sitting above 10.

Pre-Covid, Trump's was effectively just as low as Obama's, and on a trajectory to drop below 5.
