The sad truth about liberalism is that not many liberals these days are sane and honest. It's mostly because of the political tendencies and false narratives among liberals in government and news media that I tend to side more often with conservatives.

If a liberal is a sane person and doesn't randomly blame everything on racism and randomly call things racist, I can get along with them. And by "sane" I mean have common sense and look at the facts objectively, which a lot of liberals are sadly brainwashed against.

Rittenhouse only shot in self-defense and despite what I heard a crowd chanting on the news, a communist revolution is NOT the solution to the legal system working as intended. Trump didn't cause the Capitol riot. He wasn't being racist against Asians and he actively supported LGBT+ causes. Being that he was a celebrity beforehand, he likely had his fair share of friends on the spectrum. And hate Trump for anything else all you want, but I just see Biden as strictly worse in almost all respects.

The political rift isn't conservatism versus liberalism. It's how easily you can lose your common sense and be brainwashed by the media.
