Is there a backstory to this particular OC (Bubblegum) or something like that? I'd really like to know if there is, as there must be some sort of method to your delightfully creative madness.

Plus, great art, and overall character nonetheless (the picture you made on Picrew that you presented really did initially confuse me on whether Bubblegum was a girl-gone-boy or a boy-gone-girl, but thank you for clarifying in the comments - I support nonetheless)!
I personally think that if you really wanted to, you could make a comic-strip about Bubblegum trying to navigate everyday life as a transgender furry, both its pride and prejudice, in a world full of normies within a realistic and family-friendly manner as a side-project - it would raise much awareness about this sort of thing that LGBTQIA+ people struggle with on a daily basis, but that's just me thinking inherently out loud.
