not to be rude, but did you watch toy story? A toy can ONLY die, if the kid forgets about it. So, the toys wouldn't have to watch the kid play with the dead toy because if the kid were playing with it, the toy wouldn't have been dead. Also I think this is a repost just saying

You have a good point.. and this whole meme is kinda based on toy story's first movie if it was viewed as a stand-alone movie. So it would make more sense to those who have only watched toy story 1. In toy story 3, the incinerator scene hints that toys can only die if completely destroyed (melted,combusted,burned etc.). Meaning- yes, this meme is a little loopy :))
