Interestingly, Grandma Luce, my Penobscot Grandma, was a lay worker for the Catholic Church. But, today's Sermon is from Dr. Van Dyke, the Pastor of the Congregational Church, in which I was raised. He said that, like a lot of the Bible, that phrase was misunderstood. The Gospel taught that Judgement was an act reserved for God. In this case the Bible does not refer to reacting to something bad or good, or having an opinion. But, attempting to usurp God's power to judge, would cause God to Judge one negatively.
