Well it says "if you wish to live" implying that if you get near it you die. Because of this they could put it in a 100 x 100 x 100 chamber so nobody can get close

Yeah but that doesn’t make it world ending unless it grows. And we also don’t know if the scp itself just kills you or you just straight die and even then how? Liver failure? Fractured bones? Cardiac arrest? Asthma attack? Heart attack? Asphyxiation? Burning? Utilization of psychological warfare (Manipulation)? Poison? Blood clots? Dissolving to dust? Blood loss? Severe open wounds? Decapitation? Frostbite? Hypothermia? Infection? Loss of organs? Mutilation? Skinning alive? Being shredded? Shot? Plague? Alzheimer’s disease? Lack of nutrition? Starvation? Untreated Chikungunya? Untreated COVID 19? typhus? Chlamydia (ugh gross)? Hepatitis? cirrhosis? Ya see there are lot of ways to die (most of those were diseases lol)

If it can draw in the book what's the point of chains?
It can still use the book and since it's a spell book it probably uses citations the chains do nothing so it can still cause destruction

We need to conduct more research to find a way to remove the book from Malik then contain the book away from Malik. We need to see what material Malik hates most or something we can use to suppress this scp temporarily giving us at least sometime to get a close distance. And holly needs to be more specific when it comes to the containment procedures. Because there is no additional information on how to contain this scp in the event of a containment breach
