It was a base- I suck at drawing bodies- XD
Im working on it but as of now- I use bases and just add skin, clothing, hair- all that good stuff that make the character.
Its not the pose that defines the character- its who/what you put on it :3
Well- on the side while Im drawing on the bases- Im also learning from them, and how to make my own bases my self!
Im also tryna make my own unique style that I can easily replicate- but so far its not going good -_-\\

Shouldnt just use the base as a sense of learning but the skeleton and muscles as well. For example: figuring out where the muscles go help with drawing stronger muscular characters rather then random bumps. You only need to learn a little anatomy to get a decent body figured out. Angel ganev and samdoesart are artists who give tutorials and critique that are helpful, maybe search them up on youtube
The bases I use are actually a lot like those muscular stuff and adding skin and things.
heres a few examples actually-
they aren't just your run of the mill bases :3 they were made to help people learn the anatomy :3
Too me they actually help a lot as Im more of a Visual learner and can't really sit through a Youtube Video for 15 minutes trying to learn something-
I tried Mark Crilley's Videos (cause I love and own his books) but its different and harder for me to learn from hearing and watching- when I can just look for my self and skip steps- or add my own- and do the learning process my way :3
But thanks for the advice I may never use but if I ever might need it I'll be sure to remember it :3
